Be a part of building the ideal data ecosystem from scratch. Ensuring the right data is generated from all applications and sourced at the right velocity with the complete depth and breadth to ensure complete coverage and reuse. This is your opportunity to build new, not fix old.  

What will your day look like?

This is a people leadership role (up to 5 members in a team squad) with broad technical responsibilities across many aspects of our Data Enablement Value Stream.

• Define, model and publish customer and account data products on the *Data Mesh to enable data for key use cases like our new mobile apps (iOS and Android) as well as reporting and analytics
• Steer the continuous improvement of data assets and governance processes to enable customers to easily and reliably access the data that they need
• Enable and lead a team of Analytics Engineers to be the most creative and the best they can be

*** Qualifications

• Good educational background of Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Software Engineering
• At least 8 years of experience in total in Data Engineering or in a similar role

*** Must-have skills

• Experience with Data Warehouse: Either on-premises (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, DB2, Databricks, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.) or on Cloud (AWS Redshift, GCP BigQuery, Azure Synapse, etc.)
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools: Power BI, Tableau, Oracle BI, Looker Studio, Quick Sight, SSRS, Qlik, IBM Cognos, SAS
• Experience with ETL tools: SSIS, Informatica, Pentaho Data Integration, Infosphere, DataStage, Talend, SAS, Oracle Data Integrator, DBT, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, GCP Dataflow, etc.
• Expertise in SQL (problem solving and profiling)
• Experience with Data Modelling (Dimensional Modeling and Data Vault)
• Experience with programming languages (Python)
• Experience with Git source control
• Experience in working with data projects that have a complete CI/CD system
• Experiece with Unit Test for data (ETL process and data pipeline)
• Experience in building up data analytics solutions with one of these Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Ability to influence both technical and business peers and stakeholders
• Leadership experience in engineering teams, not just their technical skills but also their careers and ambitions since you are passionate and empathetic. Lead by example – jump “on the tools” when required to support the team
• Good command of English verbal communication
