Job Purpose:
Support to develop and administer IT infrastructure & systems administration plans and processes to provide programming, administration and support activities for the enterprise’s operating systems, and improve efficiency and maximize provision of service of the system/ network in line with business needs and functional objectives, and Group guidelines and policies

Key Tasks:
• Support administration of IT infrastructure and systems plans and processes to ensure maximum provision of an efficient system/ network
• Provide technologies such as operating systems, hardware, database, middleware, monitoring and infrastructure applications globally
• Timely demonstrate, install and commission infrastructure servers and their routine upgrades for products, services and systems
• Gather and collate information on updates, known errors, changes in availability, new facilities, etc.
• Deploy critical security patches to servers and clients in a timely manner
• Execute testing, packaging and successfully deploying software/ applications/ processes
• Support installation, service, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems at sites by field service and technical support team
• Deploy new services and changes to existing services in the production/ development environments
• Gather and interpret field support data on performance of product/ equipment to identify issues and need for modifications
• Understand technical or procedure manuals on behalf of non-technical users and impart routine training in normal usage of systems, products and services
• Comply with technical service restorations and troubleshooting procedures for identifying, testing and diagnosing computer system and peripheral equipment faults
• Adhere to infrastructure standards provided or set by global standards organizations such as ITSS
• Identify and resolve recurring issues, and suggest modifications for IT infrastructure and system work methods focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency
• May provide functional guidance, advice or training to end users

• Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own function
• Build relationships and understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns
