While Axon is already a leader in digital evidence management domestically, a key pillar of our company's growth is to expand internationally. For this role, we are looking for an experienced product manager to join our team and help lead the vision and execution of our Axon Commander product as we work to bridge on-premise and cloud solutions with customers around the world. This will require key strategic planning and tenacious execution to evolve our product beyond it's current capabilities in order to capture meaningful market share against our competition, while simultaneously understanding and solving for the complex legislative and infrastructure challenges unique to the global law enforcement world.

Your Day-to-Day

• End-to-end ownership of our internationally focused on-premise/hybrid digital evidence management product, including strategy, planning and execution.
• Communication directly with our international sales team and customers at law enforcement agencies to understand their needs and workflows.
• Synthesizing customer requirements and rationalize against our company strategy into actionable plans for your products.
• Working cross-discipline with engineering, design and sales to bring the right products to life with the right feature set. Liaise with our field teams to enable seamless deployments and help guide custom integrations when necessary.
• Coordinated product pricing and other go-to-market activities including sales training, marketing and customer messaging.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field
• 5+ years relevant software Product Management experience ideally shipping client/server solutions in complicated, regulated environments
• Direct experience working with engineers to balance scope, time to market, and functionality, constantly making trade-offs using qualitative, quantitative, and absent data
• Excellent problem-solving skills, well-structured written and verbal communication
• Proven track record of delivering successful products that achieve key business outcomes
• Being comfortable with discomfort, plotting a course without complete information
• Flexibility to travel when necessary (15%) as local guidelines confirm it’s safe to do so

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Drive for results, delivering the best possible outcome commensurate with the level of investment required for the situation.
• Ability to communicate effectively to multiple audiences across multiple levels of the organization.
• Ability to build trust and respect across disparate teams and agendas
• Ability to resolve conflicts by working to find common ground teams can rally behind
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, seeing around corners
• Ongoing self critical assessment of opportunities for improvements within their own programs and their skills
