The Opportunity
Leading specialist in Australian Insurance is seeking a Business Analyst with a technical focus to join their team.
Responsibilities
• Support existing legacy applications and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Communicate with the Clients/Product Owners/Project Stakeholders to understand and gather the requirements.
• Analyse and convert the requirements into user stories with acceptance criteria and document them using Jira and Confluence.
• Leading the process mapping project for the Vietnam team.
• Transfer knowledge to the project team and follow up to support change management
• Support on the User Acceptance Testing ensuring that customer expectations are met
• Support the Product Owner to prioritize the user stories
• Support the Project Manager in project planning, solution testing and user training
• Conduct planning, retrospective and backlog refinement meetings
Requirements:
• Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
• B.S degree, B.A degree in Computer Science
• 3 years in BA or Support type role
• Experience in processes testing and people training
• Good presentation and documentation skills
• Open minded, customer focused and agile
• Good analytical and critical thinking
• Experience in using such tools as Jira and Confluence
• Experience in either or both MS Dynamics Great Plain and Netsuite is highly desirable
