YOU

You want to be an important member of a strong team of other makers who take pride in their work and support each other. As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for work with Software Development team in the US to control the Quality of Structural Analysis Software including Truss, Engineering Wood Product & Management to accomplish the quality’s goals align with company’s strategies and achieve the customer’s satisfaction. And you will also be responsible for the Quality Assurance of Web-based/ Windows Desktop applications and work directly with our stakeholders in the US to provide support for Simpson Strong-Tie’s application development. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

· Support Testing of the Web / Desktop Applications which developed by Simpson IT Development team and be responsible for all aspects of testing and Quality Assurance through the full project lifecycle (from Blueprinting through Implementation)

· Review, analyze the software requirements then develop the manual test cases before starting to develop the automation scripts

· Develop automation framework components in order to reduce test cycles and overal time to market

· Contribute to developing and maintaining a repository of regression automation test cases

· Own automation test script development and execution, data sourcing or data provisioning, defect analysis, and ensure that proper test result documentation and processes are followed as per the test strategy

· Assist with intergrating test automations with the continuous intergration build environment

· Oversee the creation & execution of test cases and test scripts

· Develop Performance Test for Multi-Clients & Servers to ensure the system stable & smooth

· Research new technology in Automation Testing and apply to projects

· Develop Automated In-House Tools to reduce working time for Business Projects

· Perform reports to QC leader the progress and status of the assigned tasks

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· B.S Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent

· From 2-3 years of experience in Software Testing as an Automation QC / Tester

· Good English communication skill (both verbal & non-verbal): TOEIC 600 or equivalent

· Ability to review / analyze software requirements & Hands-on experience in developing manual test cases & automation

· Be able to develop test automation frameworks

· Intermediate knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, etc

· Basic knowledge of SQL, experience in version control system such as GIT

· Intermediate experience in Performance Test

· Being familiar with using TestComplete / Micro Focus UFT / QuickTest Pro tool, CI/CD is preferable

· Flexibility to adapt to changing instructions and requirements with high sense of commitment

· Ability to work independently as well as be proactive result-oriented team player

· Willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems

· Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with other developers, and relevant partners
