We are looking for a QA Lead to join our team in HCMC, Vietnam.

The QA Lead, Core SDKs contributes to the GeoGuard team by taking the lead on assigned projects and oversees planning, testing, and quality reporting to ensure that GeoGuard core SDKs function in accordance with product requirements. The QA Lead, Core SDKs continuously looks for opportunities to improve processes, delegate workload and maintain open communication with all team members.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Supervise QA engineers, by providing day-to-day direction and oversight, providing regular updates to the Product Manager on team performance
• Analyze business requirements and technical design documentation; provide feedback and sign-off
• Together with QA engineers estimate effort and distribute workload inside intrusted QA team
• Create and maintain test plans, test suites, test cases and checklists and assign tasks to team members
• Perform manual testing of the products according to business requirements
• Record defects found and provide sufficient information for the resolution of those defects; provide updates on a regular basis
• Ensure QA Engineers within team accurately report hours spent on tasks in Jira; manage leaves and hours of work
• Lead all recruitment for the Core SDKs QA team, including working with HR to develop job descriptions and job postings, screening resumes and shortlisting candidates with HR for interview, and leading the interview process and communication with HR and candidates.
• Lead annual review process for QA team with support from HR
• Liaise with development and product teams to understand product, business processes, needs and KPIs
• Participate in team meetings and quality assurance walk-throughs according to the GeoComply PDLC guidance
• Identify opportunities for improvements and help others to identify opportunity for improvements by providing clear and constructive feedback
• Maintain proficient knowledge and remain up-to-date with trends associated with software testing and quality assurance
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s products, processes and technologies
• Maintain and improve the automation test suites used for testing the company’s products.
