Data and Analytics Leader utilizes his/her analytical thought leadership to understand how possible analytical techniques and use of data ecosystems align with business questions and challenges within a Nestlé market.

She/He will Initiate and own value-driven data and analytics portfolio of use cases through a cross-functional council within their respective entity (market) in line with the business strategy/MBS/OMP.

He/She will help in Data and Analytics Use Case Prioritization, Road mapping, and Business Case Creation.

He/She will be accountable for executing entity-driven use cases whilst embedding scaled analytics on strategic / execution use cases coming from functions, categories, or joint market initiatives to derive value.

They will also be able to test and learn in smaller scopes and innovate new ideas and showcase value-enabling agile methodology.

One of their key responsibilities would be to orchestrate data governance in the market and work closely with the above-market data office.

Most importantly they will be custodians of Change Management and Adoption ( changes in ways of working, process integration ) to ensure the realization of value as well as help develop further data literacy ( capability building, training) in the market for all functions and categories.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …
Contribution to a business unit strategy under business unit leadership, initiating and owning a value-driven data and analytics portfolio of use cases within their respective entity (market) in line with the business strategy.

Leveraging input from a cross-functional council creates a value-driven data and analytics roadmap, prioritizing analytic use cases that bring value in relation to existing business challenges.

Be responsible for business case creation where a business case is required within their market, understanding and documenting the necessary costs/ benefits and impact of each use case.

They are accountable for executing entity-driven use cases whilst embedding scaled analytics on strategic / execution use cases coming from functions, categories or joint market value within their market to derive value.

They are in a market capacity able to demonstrate test and learn scenarios in a smaller scope and innovate new ideas and showcase value.

Responsible for data governance orchestration within their market, working with market stakeholders/stewards/owners and with the above market data office to apply consistently.

Responsible for change management and adoption (changes in ways of working, process integration) for use cases executed within their market to ensure the realization of value.

As the custodian of data literacy (capability building, training) in the market for all functions and categories, they will ensure data literacy needs are met."

DELIVERY OF ANALYTICS
- Introduce and deliver use cases that increase and optimize customer and consumer experience, generate revenue, increase margin, eliminate operational costs and other business outcomes.

- Deliver value and gain efficiency by leveraging successfully industrialized analytical models that exploit Nestlé's data assets, tracking market-relevant adoption and usage.

- Collaborates with other partners, stakeholders, and citizen analysts to deliver E2E business solutions (e.g. ASL, business domain experts, solution architects, data engineers, visualization experts etc.)

- If embedding new scaled solutions or test and learn solutions ensure delivery includes embedding of data literacy.

- Successfully navigates the cost-benefit analysis between full automation and manual intervention in analytical E2E delivery leading to returned value.

STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT AND ANALYTICS EVANGELIZATION
- Leads stakeholders throughout the organization or SBU to identify opportunities for leveraging analytical techniques on top of data assets to drive business solutions
- Leads enterprise-wide teams or SBU towards analytical culture change through presentation of analytically based business recommendations eg library of business value success stories
- Socializes best practices to market analytics community whilst being an active participant in communities of practice and above-market communities.
- Leads community development within the market, coaches citizen analysts, developing and highlights talent within the market.
- Initiate and own value-driven data and analytics portfolio of use cases through a cross-functional council within their respective entity (Zone category or market) in line with the business strategy.
- Data and Analytics Use Case Prioritization, Road mapping, and Business Case Creation (Zone Category for strategic use cases and markets for exceptional use cases).
- Accountable for executing entity-driven use cases whilst embedding scaled analytics on strategic / execution use cases coming from functions, categories or joint market initiatives to derive value.
- Test and learn in smaller scope and innovate new ideas and showcase value.
- Data governance orchestration in category/market and work closely with above market data office.
- Change Management and Adoption (changes in ways of working, process integration) to ensure the realization of value.

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (Engineering/ Computer Science /Mathematics/Statistics)
- 10+ years experience in commercial analysis
- Demonstrated ability to advse senior executive leadership team members directly
- Demonstrated Experience leveraging data visualization and knowledge of statistical techniques and software (e.g., MS Power BI, R, Python, Open source) and cloud environments (AZURE, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
- Demonstrated Experience leveraging analytical models to solve business problems with successful implementation and business value return
- Simplifying complex messages making them understandable to business people
- Demonstrated business knowledge in “FMCG/ CPG” or “Retail” industry and applied analytics to scenarios in the context of this domain
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in coordinating across teams
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex results and insights to technical and non-technical audiences leading to successful analytic collaboration
- Demonstrated ability to lead the team and work with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams leading to business value
- Demonstrated experience utilizing excellent customer-facing skills to drive analytic collaboration
