We are looking for some DevOps Engineers to join our DevOps team. Joining us, you will have a chance to build and maintain one of the biggest infrastructure for ecommerce in Vietnam. Our teams deploy new code many times a day, and our production scale is massive. Hundreds of thousands of merchants will see your work within minutes. As a DevOps engineer, you will be involved in ensuring reliability of the whole system.
What you will do:
- Set the standards with teams for building resilient, debuggable systems: set up Devops CI/CD pipelines, manage infrastructure as code.
- Respond to automated alerts and take actions.
- Manage ongoing incidents, using your understanding of KiotViet to involve the right teams and resolve as quickly as possible.
- Ensure that we never fail for the same reason twice.
- Knowledge of common web vulnerabilities, audit our infrastructure for security issues and keep it safe.
1. Experience: 3+ years of experience working as a DevOps with strong Linux experience.
2. Technical Skills:
- Advanced Linux system administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
- Programming proficiency in one or more: Go, Python, Shell Script
- Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (on-premises deployment)
- Version control: Git workflows and branching strategies
- CI/CD Pipeline: Jenkins, GitLab (self-hosted environments)
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible
- Monitoring & Logging: ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Prometheus, Grafana
3. Database & Service Management
- Database operations: MSSQL, MongoDB, Redis clustering and replication
- Message queue systems: Kafka, RabbitMQ deployment and management
- Web server configuration: Nginx, Apache optimization and tuning
- Load balancing: HAProxy, hardware load balancers
4. Core Competencies
- Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution

+ Infrastructure automation using scripting and IaC tools
+ Build and deployment automation
+ Monitoring and alerting setup and fine-tuning
+ Backup and recovery solution implementation

+ Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
+ Proactive mindset for monitoring and preventive maintenance
+ Collaborative approach when working with development and operations teams
+ Documentation discipline for creating and maintaining technical documentation
+ Continuous learning attitude towards new technologies and best practices
