1. Responsibilities in Analytical Research
• Taking the ownership of Vietnam Robusta and Arabica Balance Sheet and be responsible for properly and
timely updating the parameters on it after discussion with Senior Analysts.
• Being proactive in reviewing the Balance Sheet and vocally participate and contribute to the Balance Sheet
review process.
• Planning the monthly stock surveys and implementing them efficiently.
• Monthly Robusta and Arabica stock reconciliation in coordination with the senior analysts and agronomists.
• Analyzing the selling behavior of the farmers and other related parameters to help the team to come out
with meaningful farmers’ selling estimates to estimate the coffee flow.
• Working closely with the agronomists and following the market closely in order to update and maintain the
daily farmers’ selling and volume traded numbers.
• Timely collection and forwarding the Cost Of coffee Production and other relevant data to the Central
Research team in Bangalore with supporting comments and justifications.
• Constant communication with the colleagues in Laos, China and Thailand to get the coffee coming into
Vietnam from these origins and vice versa.
• Being aware of the market happenings, competitors’ positions and production numbers, market sentiments,
etc. by constant communication with people in the supply chain and with the agronomists.
• Sourcing and updating Phyto and Customs data.
• Analyze Domestic coffee consumption.
• Support in analysis of other origins when needed.
2.Responsibilities in Agronomical Research
• Implementation of agreed Research Methodology for coffee crop estimation.
• Plan, participate and travel extensively across provinces or to other countries for carrying out surveys with
farmers, stockholders, Government offices to collect primary and secondary data, soil and plant samples,
knowledge enhancement and for any other requirements as and when required by the Company.
• To participate in the crop tours 4 times a year - In January, April, July and September/October by performing
high quality farmer interviews. Also, need based support to telephonic surveys.
• Telephonic stock surveys to be done during the last week of every month. Physical verification of stocks by
visiting the stockholders to be carried out 3 times a year during January/February, March/April and
September and as per the requirement.

2-5 years of experience, ideally in commodities. Experience in coffee is beneficial.
• Analytical skills – modern data analysis skills, coding in Python, SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Good English skills
