WHAT YOU WOULD DO
We are seeking an experienced Manual Software Engineer to join our product team. This is an excellent opportunity to work at a dynamic and motivating start-up in Vietnam as Medici. You will be part of an ecosystem via a super-app to shape the insur-tech and health-tech revolution protecting the life of every Vietnamese.
- Have the responsibility for the quality of Medici products
- Define the testing objectives and criteria to oversee the testing and follow-up processes for software products
- Determine requirements and develop test plans
- Execute writing test design, and test cases based on the system specification documents
- Develop automation test scripts based on available frameworks
- Perform the following test: Manual UI test, API test, Mobile/Web test, Performance test, automation test
- Review failure analysis results and implement changes that limit and/or eliminate the causes of failure
- Performs log bugs, evaluates bug severity, and keeps track of bug status via JIRA as workflow actions
- Self-management of personal work and report progress to the team and the leader.
- Give the effort to provide a bug-free production environment with internal teams.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE
Your Skills and Experience
Education:
- Graduated from universities majoring in IT (required)
Experience:
- Over 4 years of experience as a QC Engineer (manual testing experience is required; automated testing is a plus)
- Strong experience in creating, and maintaining test artifacts (test plans, test cases, test scenarios, test reports...)
- Experienced in testing API using Postman, Soap UI …
- Experience in using SQL statements
- Understand the software product development processes.
- Having experience in finance, banking, and payment service projects is an advantage.
Skills:
- Having the ability to analyze problems in an engineering way;
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, particularly the ability to work in a squad to ensure delivering projects timely and meaningful;
- Familiar with agile software development and engineering culture.
