Keep the Organization’s IT system stable and running smoothly on all sites. To do this the IT Manager:
Ensures operations readiness of the information system:
- Analyzes the incident trends, and organizes, plans and implements the proper solutions
- Manages the contracts and the service levels with subcontractors
- Ensures the IT team is trained at the right level
Is responsible for the security and integrity of the IS (data, hardware, network…):
- Ensures that the standards, norms and security policies are adhered to
Prepares and manages the budget
Aligns the IS with the entity priorities:
- Translates the company objectives in clear objectives for his staff / his management
- Regularly reports on his activity with the local and regional management
Reporting line
Direct reporting: Local management
Functional reporting: Regional MIS
Main responsibilities
Team management:
- Plan and control the team’s tasks
- Defines his team’s objective
- Manages the team’s workload, according to the potential evolution of the team size and skills
Planning and organization:
- Is responsible for the proper management of the access to the IS
- Defines the objectives and means of his team with the local management and the regional MIS
- Tracks the costs and spending vs budget, and enforces the budgetary procedures
- Closely follows his activity’s KPIs
- Proposes solutions to continually improve his entity’s productivity
Quality and Security
- Implements and controls the procedures / standards of quality assurance and security
- Controls the reliability of the IS (in all its components, software or hardware); defines and tests the BCP
- Ensure that software licensing laws are adhered to
- Implements the BCP when needed
Communication
- Reports his activity with the heads of department of the entity and the regional MIS
- Communicates with his team and his management of his activity
- Organizes information transmission in the event of a crisis
Management of means of production
Systematically proposes, whether in a technical or budgetary perspective, new solutions to:
- Maintain the right level for the technical means of production (software or hardware)
- Maintain the right level of knowledge (training, seminar, etc.)
- Anticipate on the evolution of operations to properly size the IS
Management of the daily run activities
- Supervises the complete IS: network, systems, and hardware. Implements all procedures required to ensure the run, train his personnel on these procedures, and ensures they are followed via dashboards
- Administers all hardware, software and optimizes these resources

- Can analyze his staff’s skills and what needs to be improved through training / coaching
- Can define and enforce SLAs with subcontractors
- Ensures positive commercial relationship with his clients and subcontractors, whether internal to the entity or external
- Implements a quality system to continuously improve the service rendered by the IT department
- Can evaluate the impact of new IS / IT tools
- Is sensitive to the IS / IT security and ensures the policies are enforced
- Experience of Windows Server / Active Directory environment.
- Experience of Citrix / O365
Requirements
- College Degree or above
- At least 4 years IT working experience in a multinational company
- Good English
- Possess good communication skills and influence skill
