We're looking for talented senior firmware developers to join a Silicon Valley-based company's development team working on an innovative medical device.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Responsible for analyzing requirements, development, testing and support of embedded firmware.
  • Responsible for hands on code development, testing, debug, and release.
  • Must be able to write development plans and to define theory of operations, software architecture and communication protocol.
  • Responsible for setting timelines and assigning tasks to junior team members.
  • Responsible for training and coaching less experienced engineers.

 

Yêu cầu:

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least 5-year experience in Embedded Software design and development on the microcontroller.
  • Must be proficient in Embedded C and have knowledge of Object-oriented programming such as C++.
  • Ability to architect embedded firmware, from high level task scheduling to low level HALs.
  • Must have knowledge of data structure and algorithm, concurrency programming
  • Must have knowledge and hands-on experience in RTOS, bootloader, BLE
  • Must be proficient with source control systems (e.g. Git) and defect tracking systems (e.g. JIRA).
  • Must be proficient in the use of various compilers, debuggers, and IDEs (e.g. KEIL, IAR, GCC, JTAG/GDB).
  • Must have knowledge with cryptography: symmetric and asymmetric, encryption/decryption, hashing, signatures, certificates
  • Must be experienced with all following typical interfaces/protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, USB
  • Experience with TCP/IP, GSM/GPRS, WiFi, Zigbee is a plus
  • Ability to scope and estimate development effort
  • Scripting language like Python, Perl
  • Being able to read and understand schematic design
  • Good English skills including reading, writing, and verbal communication
