We are looking for a Data Operations Manager to join our team in HCMC, Vietnam.

In this exciting role, you will be accountable for the overall success of the operation team in our Saigon office! You will have an opportunity to work with an international team, with colleagues in Canada, the US, and the Ukraine, in a dynamic and friendly work environment!

As an operation manager, you will oversee the operation teams in Vietnam consisting of: Data Analytics, Business Intelligence and Anti-Fraud teams. Working directly with the Head of Development, you will make sure that all goals and objectives of the operational teams are met. You will work closely with the team leads from each of the team to ensure smooth operations and meeting the business objectives.

Your key accountabilities and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Work with the Business Intelligence team leads to ensure that reports and data analysis requests are delivered with high quality and on time.
• Work with the Data Analytics team lead to ensure that all the data anomalies are detected and reviewed.
• Work with the Anti-Fraud team lead to ensure that all the location frauds are detected and the fraud DB is up-to-date.
• Working with the Head of Development to ensure that the operational teams have all the supports that are needed.
• Working to create synergies across the company and encouraging communication to other departments; facilitating multi-function brainstorming sessions to assist with problem solving and collecting external suggestions.
• Seeking to ensure that the business team is aware of key decisions made during operation, particularly as they relate to the choices made on important functionality included/excluded in each new release.
• Managing the operational teams activities and performance, providing guidance to the team leads, and all team members; recruit, mentor, motivate, train, and coach employees ensuring their individual success; manage leaves and hours of work.
• Developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of the company’s products, processes, and technologies.
• Understanding the company’s vision, goals, and strategy, and actively contributing to the achievement of the goals and execution of the company’s strategy.
• Ensuring documentation is always up to date and comprehensible to all stakeholders.

• 4 years’ experience as an operation manager or equivalent position.
• 5 years’ experience as a business analyst or similar position dealing with data.
• Excellent leadership skills with an ability to motivate team members and others involved in projects.
• Proven experience in planning and managing business analytics teams
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare and analyze large datasets with attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with Kibana/ ElasticSearch is a plus
• Experience with Jupyter, MySQL is a plus
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets is a plus
• Strong organizational skills.
• Solutions-oriented with ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and ability to adapt to communicating with different stakeholders across different time zones.
• Fluent English communication skills, especially verbal and written
• Experience preparing reports and presentations, and data analysis.
